The Secret Sanke Showdown!

We’ve teamed up with Exclusively Koi and YouTuber, Lee Hadfield - The Koi Soldier to bring you a very special event featuring some stunning Sanke from Takano!

Ricky has purchased a selection of 100 pieces of tosai Sanke from Takano (aka The Secret Sanke breeder) which will be available to choose by lucky draw, with the holder of first ticket chosen getting their pick from all 100 fish. The exclusive event will be strictly limited to 50 tickets and 100 Koi to choose from, so even the last ticket chosen will have their pick of a fantastic selection of over 50 Koi!

Tickets

Tickets will be available to buy from the Exclusively Koi website from 10am on Saturday 7 January. Priced at £495, each ticket includes:

• Your opportunity to select your own tosai Sanke from Takano

• Access to an exclusive selection event at Newark Showground on Sunday 5 February

• Meatcastles legendary burger meal voucher for one person at the February event

• An opportunity to view and buy a selection of other Koi before they are made available to the wider public

• Your Koi raised at Koi Wholesale until May 2023

• Exclusive collection event in May, with some great prizes for the selected winning fish

• Your opportunity to meet Ricky and Chris from the Koi Wholesale team and take advantage of their specialist knowledge

The Selection Event – Sunday 5 February 2023

Everyone that has successfully purchased a ticket is invited to attend the selection event at Newark Showground at 10am on Sunday 5 February, where a lucky draw will take place and buyers will get to select their Koi. All tickets include entry for the ticket holder and one additional guest.

At the event you’ll get the opportunity to meet with Ricky, Chris, Steve and other members of the Koi Wholesale team – and perhaps even get the opportunity to pick Ricky’s brains about his recommendations of which of the Takano Sanke he would choose!

You’ll also have the opportunity to view and buy a selection of other Koi raised at Koi Wholesale before they are made available to the wider public!

And that’s not all! As part of the event, we’ve also arranged for gourmet burger caterer, Meatcastles to be there, with the ticket price including one free meal voucher. Renowned in the local area, the Meatcastles burgers are legendary and will really get your tastebuds tingling – take a look at their Facebook page for a sample!

The Collection Event – May 2023 (date TBC)

Following the event on Sunday 5 February all Koi will be returned to Koi Wholesale and raised in one of Ricky’s specialist 1200 gallon ponds. The fish will be returned to Newark Showground in May (date TBC) for the collection event and a grow and show award with prizes selected for the best fish, and for all buyers to collect their Koi.
